I am extremely excited to introduce to you my new line of dolls, which are French little girls, originally from where i am, the French Riviera; please meet Estelle, the first one of LES PETITES FILLES!

Before going into details, let me tell you the story of Estelle.

Estelle actually is a fondest memory of my childhood. I used to go with my mother and my beloved grandma to "Estelle's Bazaar" in my town, when I was a child.

To enter her bazaar, you had to take three steps down, then it was like entering Ali Baba's cave. These steps added to the feeling of entering another world. There wasn't an inch free from floor to ceiling in here, it was packed as if a competition to stuff the most things in a space had taken place, and nothing, I mean not a thing was alike the others. It was from peruvian pillows, to siberian wooden dolls, jamaican lamps, tibetan pelts, italian dishes, romanian embroidery to chinese lanterns and african jewelry. The smell was very distinctive too, and a mix of a million different things combined together, though strangely ravishing. And in that pandemonium, was Estelle. A short, red headed woman, she always made me think of those little forest elves, but she smelled like a diva herself. Little Estelle, lost in that ocean of findings, knew, by some sort of sorcery, where every single thing was, precisely from where they came and what they were made of. She let me play, touch, try, use, pretty much everything. To this day, I still have a few things she gifted me back then.

Estelle was alone, she had one daughter that was her world, taking care of her widow mother, taking one vacation a year during which she closed the bazaar, she was simple, so down to earth, generous and funny.

So what Nefer, you'd ask?

It was just a very cool dazzling bazaar, so what?

Here's what. Estelle was MUCH older than she looked. Much. Nobody who knew, could believe her age of which she wasn't ashamed of one bit. One day, her 90 something mother passed away. Estelle was extremely sad, but angry too. There were apparently, some distant cousins or something like this, wanting some of the things and possessions her mother left. And Estelle was so mad... they never even took of their time to visit her mom ever. That is the only time, I've ever seen her angry. She never ever was and never has been again.

Time went by, and Estelle one day was sad, because she couldn't go travel anymore once a year as she always did, due to her health. So, very shockingly, she put up her bazaar for sale. I was older, and she was so friendly that I even tried to talk her out of it. With the candor of young years, I asked her if it was because there wasn't enough costumers. Because truthfully, I spent days in there, not seeing more than 2 people entering the place.

She grabbed my shoulders, for she was direct like that, spontaneous as a summer rain, smiling at me; then replied : "Oh sweetie! I don't need them! What are they for? No, no, that's not why. If I can't travel, who's gonna get all this, right?"
And I didn't understand. So she explained...

Estelle never needed to work. She never needed anyone to buy anything in her bazaar. Her mother was actually the owner of 80% of the medieval village of our town. Estelle was as wealthy as can be. She was alone because everyone she ever met in her life was after her money, thus no one ever loved her for who she was.
And every year, like clockwork, that little woman was going for a month and a half, to run all over the world to buy herself each item in her bazaar.
"Because you see, my house is full. and my mother wanted me to have an occupation so I wouldn't be depressed." This is why she knew where every single item came from, what every curiosity was made of.
I never looked at Estelle the same, she suddenly became that very fierce traveler, going on quests to gather never seen before things from some of the most remote places in the wide world. She was so brave, so adventurous, rich as so many would dream to be, yet humble like an apostle.

Nobody ever bought her Bazaar. I don't think it could be anyone's but hers. It made sense.
I miss Estelle. I miss her bazaar. She left an engraved dazzling memory in my mind.
Thus, here is my tribute to her. Here is my Estelle, the first of Les Petites Filles. And, oh boy... IS MY ESTELLE GONNA TRAVEL!!!

The deposit for Estelle is bigger than usually. But the fullsets are LIMITED AND ALREADY 5 HAVE SOLD!! So it would be totally unfair to take a seat from a collector who truly wants her, by someone that finally never subscribe their automatic paypal layaway; as it unfortunately happened lately.
Therefore, I ask again for a deposit, then the remaining balance is to be paid on monthly installments by the collector, directly to my paypal twarkzit@hotmail.com, in a matter of 5 months top. ALSO, IF YOU ARE A REGULAR OR KNOWN COLLECTOR OF MINE AND YOU NEED A DIFFERENT PLAN, PLEASE EMAIL ME. WE WILL SORT SOMETHING OUT TOGETHER.
I apologize for that change in the layaway method, which is really going back the old way. But I have to confess that beyond being heartbreaking, it takes a lot of time to process all the orders, a lot of money to invest in producing the dolls and their fullsets to finally discover that some, took a seat from other collectors who are now sad, then didn't even bother to subscribe their paypal layaway nor to answering my numerous emails. I know that the 95% of my collectors who are wonderful and that I cherish so much, will understand the issue and where I am coming from. THANK YOU <3

The preorder will be open from January 10th till february 3rd.
